Steel structure in accordance with DIN 15018. As all the machining is performed in one jig, the structure has a high degree of mechanical precision.

Connected to main girders by high-strength bolts. Wheels with roller bearings and permanent lubrication. Motor with smooth starting and stopping characteristics. With integrated DC power supply for sturdy, durable electro-mechanical disc brake. Motor entirely maintenance-free. Steel structure with single-layer painting RAL 1007 (daffodil yellow), motors painted traffic blue, RAL 5017.

Power supply system with KBH safety conductor

KBH means Kompaktes Berührungsgeschütztes Hohlkammerprofil (compact contact protected hollow profile). The ABUS KBH safety conductor may be used for power supplies to one or more mobile units. The conductor system features contact protection, is corrosion-resistant and is suitable for use in dust-free atmospheres in indoor and outdoor service.

Festoon cable

The ABUS festoon cable system can be used to supply power to a maximum of two hoists on one track. Festoon systems can be used in a wide range of applications: for power supply for movable machines and devices, for example for trolleys, crane travel, HB-Systems, electric hoists and machine tools.

Electrical installation material

Electrical power and control lines for cable carriers and energy chains as well as for push button pendants on hoists. Cable glands, adhesive clips for round and flat cables.

Control Components

Central control system

The tried and tested multiple-standard design of ABUS control systems covers a wide range of applications. These are available in two different versions:

• The decentralised control system is sub-divided into separate panels on the crane bridge (SKR) and on the trolley (SKA).
• The centralised control system for the crane and the trolley is installed in a central position on the crane bridge.

Load measuring system LIS

The specially developed control unit LIS is used on all ABUS wire rope hoists for control purposes. Two versions of this unit are available; the LIS-SE or the LIS-SV unit. Both units feature an overload protection which protects the hoist against overload and an operating hours meter as a standard.
